Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Conveydo website, record builder, generated documents, checklists, and transaction verification records.

1. The service

Conveydo is a self-service tool that organizes information supplied by users into a private-sale transaction record. Conveydo is not a law firm, escrow service, title agency, marketplace, identity-verification service, payment intermediary, or government agency.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You may use Conveydo only for lawful transactions involving property you are authorized to buy or sell. You may not use it for fraud, misrepresentation, unlawful goods, sanctions evasion, money transmission, or infringement of another person's rights.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of all names, identifiers, prices, disclosures, signatures, and transaction terms. You must independently verify identity, ownership, liens, title and registration status, item condition, payment, taxes, required notices, official forms, notarization, witnesses, filing deadlines, and agency procedures.

4. Documents and signatures

Generated records are templates and transaction records, not legal advice or a guarantee of validity, enforceability, ownership, payment, identity, or successful title transfer. Some transactions require official forms, original signatures, notarization, witnesses, or in-person steps. A remote signing link is a bearer link: anyone who has it may be able to review the shared record and sign as the named party until it expires, is completed, or is replaced. Send links only to the intended signer, and independently confirm identity and transaction details. Each party should receive and retain the final record and all official documents.

5. Storage, accounts, and verification records

Without an account, record details are stored in your browser and generated PDF and may be lost if browser data is cleared or you change devices. If you create a Conveydo account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods and signing links secure and for activity under your account. You may explicitly save selected transaction records, export account data, delete cloud transactions, and delete your account. Account deletion does not remove copies already exported or held by another party. After both parties sign and accept the verification disclosure, Conveydo stores the record fingerprint and limited transaction details identified in that disclosure. Anyone possessing the high-entropy verification link or identifier can view those details. A verified result confirms that the matching record was submitted as completed with both party signatures and required consents; it does not independently prove identity, ownership, payment, authority to sell, or legal validity.

6. Fees and refunds

The current private prototype is free. Before any paid feature is activated, its price will be shown before checkout. Refunds for future paid records will be governed by the Refund Policy and any rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conveydo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, legal sufficiency, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Conveydo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, loss of property, failed transfers, fraud by another user, or loss of locally stored records. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount paid to Conveydo for the affected record or $100. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the service and may update these Terms. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
